Fundraising

How we raise awareness of fighting poverty in Germany and collect donations for our projects.

Out and about in Germany

Summer and street festivals

We regularly attend summer festivals, Christmas markets and street festivals to inform people about fighting poverty and direct aid.

Our demo shop

We have recreated an authentic roadside shop of the kind you find in Uganda, with real products from the region. This gives us a vivid example to explain how cash transfers help to start shops and small businesses that create sustainable sources of income.

Door-to-door visits

We regularly do door-to-door fundraising. In personal conversations, we present our work and win people who support the fight against extreme poverty in the long term.

IGS Oyten

We are collaborating with IGS Oyten, a comprehensive school. Around 20 pupils are running a fundraising or public relations project as part of their year-long project work, for example cake sales.
